2nd Shift ACL

Description

Join VS daily for production floor shifts in the following areas:
-Backpack Buddy
-Unsorted Dry
-Meat Sort
-Carousel (First Sort)
-Carousel (Second Sort)
-Carousel (Side of the Line)

1-4pm Monday -Sat

Please arrive 15 minutes before shift.
If you are there to take a lead position or to assist a rep in a particular area please find your contact person.
For all production shifts clock in and out via the Galaxy Digital kiosk located in Volunteer Services.

Support Crew Expectations:

  • Shadow and assist project leads.
    • Students in the support crew are the go-to and expert in the projects side jobs (recycling, palatizing, box-making, and restocking)
  • Identify and address project mistakes
    • touch tables, identify bottle necks around the project area, and critical thinking skills to solve problems.
  • Support the foodbank during the production shift by being a lobby support attendant
    • assist the welcome with signing volunteers in, deliver safety presentations and offer tours
    • lead volunteers that arrive late to the designated project area.
  • Attending the various leadership development workshops targeted on leadership development and project leading.
