Local Liberty aims to tackle a critical gap in civic education by equipping teens in the Greater Houston Community–many of whom are at or near voting age yet lack understanding of local government–with a practical, locally focused curriculum that builds knowledge of city and county officials, and empowers meaningful civic engagement.
In this workshop, Student Heroes will learn about civic engagement and better understand what their role is as citizens of their community.
