Join us for Shred Day, a special event where community members can safely dispose of sensitive documents for free—and have the chance to make a difference!
As a volunteer, you'll be the friendly face welcoming attendees, guiding them through the process, and asking if they'd like to support Houston Food Bank with a food or fund donation. Sorting canned goods, taping boxes, and moving pallets with pallet jacks, and accepting cash donations will be required of volunteers as well.
Complimentary snacks, water, and lunch will be provided.
Coverage for this event is needed for 7:30am – 3pm. We would love any volunteer who can stay the entire time, but please see the two shifts below:
7:30am – 11:30am
11am – 3pm
