Newsletter 3/23/24
From now on, the GroupMe and newsletter are official places for rules! We will no longer be sending out emails.
Update on rule for bringing friends from the Volunteer Services Department Management:
- Student heroes must ensure that guests they invite to volunteer have registered prior to their shift.
- Guests must submit a minor waiver to the front desk before volunteering.
- Guests are subject to the existing minor rule, meaning they must be 16 or older to volunteer without a parent.
- If a student volunteers with their guest in the same space, they must inform Project leaders that the guest is not a Student Hero.
- Guests should not be treated as Student Heroes, meaning they should not be asked for help on larger tasks or to explain side jobs.
- Penalties may apply to students who do not adhere to this policy.
